1/2, 3/4: Today I brought in flan (a Spanish dessert) for the students to try. We also learned more food vocabulary. We learned dairy and bread products. We also reviewed fruits and vegetables. I had a brief worksheet on the breads and dairy and for the last couple minutes we played a game called patience. They did well and had fun playing!
5/6, 7/8: Today we reviewed fruits, vegetables, dairy, bread, and learned meats/proteins. I had a worksheet for them that covered a variety of vocabulary. We played heads up 7 up with vocabulary and then played patience in Spanish. Patience is a game where they have to see how high they can count without two people saying the same number. There can be no pattern and no one can say consecutive numbers. They did well and had fun playing it!
