Today 8th grade math took a test. Therefore they have no math homework. 7th grade was given their review which is found on pages 143-145 and they must complete all of the problems. Their test will be tomorrow.
In Bible there was a worksheet that must be completed by tomorrow. Also, Bible memory is due tomorrow. It is James 5:16
In science we continued a bit with the science fair project. We continued to come up with project ideas and the goal is to have the question they want to answer by next week.
In civics we completed the section on the executive branch. We began a mini project which consists of the students learning a bit about the presidential campaigning that is going on. I had them find three presidential candidates all of which must be from different parties. I am having them include a little biography for each candidate and am having them research each of their views on the budget, education, the war, minimum wage, immigration and gun control. After doing their research they must explain why or why not they would vote for them. Today in class everyone decided on their candidates and for tomorrow they must have the biographies completed.
Hot lunch forms are also due tomorrow.
